This course introduces teachers
to using the Internet to enhance learning and teaching in K-12
schools. The goal is to experiment, learn, and grow
together in a collaborative community.
Teachers will learn a variety of strategies to
integrate the Internet into their teaching to promote meaningful
learning. My intent is to make the course as
research-based, subject-matter oriented, practical, and
individualized as possible.
The course addresses the
ISTE Standards
for Teachers that have been adopted by the National Council
on Accreditation in Teacher Education (NCATE). Course projects
and activities have been designed to be consistent with these
standards.
