Directions for Accessing ERIC/EBSCO from "My UEN."
- Activity:
- Using ERIC/EBSCO, identify the topic for your research paper
(refer to the guide you printed

- Conduct a search of ERIC/EBSCO and identify useful search
terms from the thesaurus
- Practice emailing a few potentially useful articles to
yourself
- Send me an email with: a) your topic for your research
paper, and b) at least 3 thesaurus search terms, and c) titles
of a few articles. Remember to include TL 6950 in the
subject line of your subject line along with a descriptive
title, e.g., TL 6950 - Research Paper Topic.

- Working with a colleague, access Marco Polo and spend 15
minute exploring several of its sites. Then, choose 1 of
the following sites to review that is appropriate for your
students:

- Econedlink
- Edsitement
- Illuminations
- ReadWriteThink
- ScienceNetLinks
- Xpeditions
- Your review should include: a) general features of the
site, b) types of content included that is relevant for your
students, and c) strategies for using this resource in teaching.
