Directions for Homepage on
CourseCompass.Com
Set up your homepage on
CourseCompass.com. Select "tools" then "edit
your homepage." Write a brief "intro message" including such information
as: school, teaching specialty and/or grade level and name of your school.
Discuss in a sentence or two your general questions and/or concerns regarding
educational technology at this stage in your teaching career and the
goals you have set for yourself in this course.
Under personal information share with us some tidbit that will help us to get
to know you better, e.g., interests, hobbies, what you do with your free-time
assuming you have some, etc. Humor is always appreciated! We will be
taking a digital photograph of each student that you may upload to your
homepage. These photographs will be sent to
you via the Digital Drop Box in CourseCompass.com by the second class session.
You may substitute a picture of your own if you have one that is approximately
150x150 pixels. We will upload your photo to your homepage during the
second session.
As the class progresses, please add WWW links
that you have found to be personally helpful in preparing to teach in your
chosen area(s).
