Activity 3 - Web Site Evaluation

Navigate to:  http://www.library.ucla.edu/libraries/college/help/hoax/index.htm

Working in small groups, you will complete the activity assigned to group 1, 2, or 3.  Each group should choose a facilitator, a reporter,  several researchers, and a spokesperson.  Using Kirk's criteria, evaluate your assigned site and be prepared to participate in a class discussion.

Although general criteria for evaluating web sites are useful, educators need to take into consideration the instructional aspects of web sites.  Here's a form that you might find helpful as you evaluate web sites in your specialty areas.
